1..Intake Application
Guardian/Parent will fill out an intake application. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

3. Verification of Benefits
Depending on your insurance we may need to request authorization to conduct the assessment.
4. Meetings
During the intake process, two meetings will be scheduled with the parent/guardian. A Functional Assessment Interview (FAI) and a Formal Assessment.
5. Interview
The FAI takes approximately 30-minutes to one hour.
6. The Assessment
A Formal Assessment will be completed in the home with the client. Assessments can take up to 2 hours to conduct.
7. Treatment Decision
Following the assessment process, A New Day ABA will review the results to ensure that the client's needs fall within our scope of practice and determine whether we are the best fit to address those needs. If A New Day ABA is not the best fit, then a referral will be provided for other ABA agencies.
8. Treatment Plan
A Treatment Plan will be created based upon assessment results and medical necessity.
9. Review
Parents/Guardians will review the treatment plan during a discussion-style meeting with the clinician(s) to clarify questions, seek feedback on programs, review and model programs. Once reviewed and agreed upon, the plan will be signed, and depending on insurance require approval and authorization.
10. Starting Services
Prior to receiving authorization, we will collaborate on scheduling, and review policies and procedures.
